hi everyone,
we have all been very busy in p-10 lately and it has been quite a while since we wrote. hope everyone is well.
we have just finished with Exchange 05's first session. it was organised and moderated by Urich and went pretty well. thanks to those of you who came; hope you had a good time then. we are now preparing for the second session which is coming up soon in May - watch for it!
we are also busy with our own stuff lately. Kit just finished his solo show in PKW and is now in reservist. Sijin and Boon are busy with school. and Tien and i are in Tokyo setting up an exhibition.
and oh yes, we recently went to the interesting new Republic Poly campus - 2 images here of what it looks like.

Well, what's happening? this holiday season. Some reading and also plans on some of our activities. (besides Kit being busy with his show...)

working late

we have been very busy lately: Kit getting ready for his first solo exhibition which will be held at PKW starting Tue; Sijin becoming as busy as a 'real' teacher; Boon not even being around coz he's so overwhelmed with work and myself doing tons of work on my new laptop.
believe it or not - we are now still in Perumal - at 3am on a Fri night! Kit is being a slave-driver, making sure Ms Kee is doing the binding; Sijin is working on Virtual Marathon and I'm ... blogging.
for you guys who haven't visited in a while, here's a picture of our small fish (the other 3 are still too tiny to get on camera). -Jen.

Just the other day...

Been a busy week, we are preparing with WITA for a "talk series" - called "The Exchange"! Designing the poster.

Lots of reading and finishing the curatorial essay for the ERRATA project.

Did we mentioned the p-10 computer is KAPUT >> Virus-infected. I rescued the data, but still have no time to get it up and going. (HELP anyone?)

I became a skyper - believer ever since the zero-gravity project where we used it.

Then this article came out!
"Here's how they plan to cripple the Vonages and Skype's, according to friends of mine who have spent 20+ years in engineering positions at telephone companies, cable companies and internet service providers. As the phone and cable companies begin offering their own VoIP services in real volume, they plan to "tag" their own VoIP packets so that at least within their own networks, their VoIP service will have COS (Class of Service) assignments with their routers, switches, etc. They also plan on implementing distinct Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) for the tagged packets.

p-FISH - it seems that our fishes have given birth to baby fishes. Visible ones are: 1 small fish and 3 tiny fishes (hiding in the log).
