I missed out a piece of news.
The 'exhibition guide' for Errata is finally published (100 copies).
It is a prequel to the upcoming publication which at this point of time seems very thick and sexy.
The 'Errata exhibition guide' has the curatorial essay, Koh's research notes and picture gallery. It is available at p-10 for anyone who wishes to read it.
It costs $25. All proceeds will go into the final publication. Look forward to anybody's comments. On this topic, I am reminded of a point which Ray brought up at the Editorial meeting (documenta) about Errata being an exhibition project.
I replied that it is an exhibition project all this while, although the exhibition model is not adequate to fully explore the subject. In fact, it shouldn't be the final resting place. As we last packed the collection into the storage, knowing in our hearts the solution which we were seeking for the collection is still not resolved.
Next thing: I M BREATHER: PART II: Paradise/Terrorise was covered in Life last Saturday. Anybody has any comments on that? Chai Hiang said the article was good.

I M BREATHER PICS

I M BREATHER opens last thursday. We had part III: Jeremy Hiah artist talk.
The turn out was luke warm. About 13 turned up. Jen said, it was too much events in two weeks. We should have spaced out in the month. Well, all not lost since we have recorded the talk on video.
The video should be ready in a week's time - so visitors can view that.
Meanwhile, took some pictures of I M BREATHER Part I: Painting.
More on pics on the I M BREATHER website.

To Chiang Mai and back, STILL BREATHING

Jennifer and me just went to Chiang Mai last week. It has been a rather eventful trip.
Firstly, we met up with some of our friends (SOK SAK, ol' Switch media, Uthit) over there and caught up with what they are doing. Next, we attended the documenta 12 (Thailand) editorial meeting and visited The Land Foundation.
A good four days. Then we rushed back with lots of work to do for our upcoming exhibition and a head full of 'ideas'. :)
When we returned to Singapore, we attended the documenta 12 editorial meeting at the Substation. That was also good for us since, we were fortunate to be able to see both symposiums and we got a chance to compare our personal notes. (Maybe the notes will be published in Art Singapore later on.)
Now that the whole symposium is over, we back to preparing for the upcoming activities at p-10.
LAO YU SENG on friday @ p-10 as it will be hosting ENCOUNTERS 08: COM & COM.
ALL INVITED. Time of the year to toss up some luck.
Next will be I M BREATHER, an exhibition of works by Jeremy Hiah.

sort out accounts!
Yeah, one of my most love-hate things. Sorrting out the p-10 accounts and balancing monies.
Such a drag -- at first. Then at the middle of it, it feels so rewarding because you get things in place. Now, I think it looks quite organised!
More updates later!
