1. Sun (6 June), 4-9pm, Show Room, Free: Singapore Really Really Free
Market. Join us for our 10th session! Give out your stuff (books, cds,
toys, food, etc) or share your skills (haircutting, caricature
drawing, singing, etc) with others and spread the love! Everything is
free and everyone is welcome!

2. Now on: Post-Museum has a Studio available from 1 July. If you are
an artist, creative or small NGO who is looking for a working space to
rent, please contact us.

3. Now on: Post-Museum has an Exhibition Opportunity available in
mid-July. If you are an artist, creative or NGO and are interested in
a free slot, please email us a brief proposal together with your
CV/bio.

NEXT WEEK

1. Fri (11 June), 8pm, Back Room: The End of the Line. Join us for
the first major feature documentary film revealing the impact of
overfishing on our oceans. Directed by Rupert Murray, this film took
over two years to make and was filmed across the world. Entry by
purchase of a drink in Food #03 and donations to Post-Museum are

Post-Museum Post (30 November – 6 December 09): An exciting 1st week of Dec!




Dear friend,

If you haven’t caught Tang Mun Kit’s exhibition yet, tomorrow is the
last day! Also, there are many exciting things happening in
Post-Museum this week - macrobiotic Xmas party, human rights workshop
and Really Really Free Market - so come by!

Lastly, our fundraising t-shirts designed by ampulets are almost ready
- keep a look out for it!

UPDATES

1. Till Wed (2 Dec), 6-10pm (Tue-Fri), Show Room, Free: Life > Art >
Liberation by Tang Mun Kit. This 16th solo exhibition features 21
works from a series, conceptualised from end 1992-1993 and completed
this year, which reflects on the artist's perception on the human
condition in the local context and the world at large.

2. Wed (2 Dec), 6.30-10.30pm, Food #03, $25: A Very Macro X'mas Dinner
Party! Join us for a healthier, organic, but most definitely very
tasty way to ring in the celebrations! Alexandra Hsieh is preparing 2
macrobiotic set dinners (Organic Wild Brown Rice Set and Spaghetti
Pasta Goreng); both include soup, appetizer and free flow house drink.

3. Sat (5 Dec), 3-6pm, Free: Human Rights Workshop by Think Centre in
conjunction with International Human Rights Day Come explore the

1. Till Tue (17 Nov), 6-10pm, Show Room, Free: Masquerade by Jung Eun Shin (Korea) takes the garden drawings and paintings of twentieth-century American painter Jennifer Bartlett as a point of reference and uses plastic as a substitute for pencil, crayon, ink and paint, replacing organic substances with inorganic material.



2. Opening Thu (19 Nov), 7pm, Show Room, Free: Life > Art > Liberation by Tang Mun Kit. 1. Wed (18 Nov), 8pm, 72-13 Mohamed Sultan Rd, Free: Screening of Journey to the Moon (79 min, with English subtitles), the newest film by Kutlug Ataman. Part of Flying Circus Project Platform 02.



2. Starting Fri (20 Nov), 10am-10pm, 1 HarbourFront Walk, Free: Art Against Aids Photography Exhibition. A first in Singapore, this exhibition showcases the poignant photographic works of 10 people who live with HIV/AIDS and who volunteer with or care for people living with the disease.



3. Sat (21 Nov), 4.30pm, Substation Gallery (45 Armenian St), Free: Artist Talk by Lucy Davis. Together Again (Wood:Cut) Part II is the second part of an ongoing inquiry into the “secret lives" of rainforest products, explored as materials, metaphors, magic, ecological resources and historical agents.
