p-10 Picks (3 - 9 December)

Hi friend,
It's the start of a new week again, and once again, here are the art events we recommend for the week:

1. Now – 8 Dec

My Universal Home

Old Supreme Court

11am – 7pm

Free

A conceptual space created by Singapore-based Belgian designer and artist Anita Nevens in collaboration with designstudio Little Red Dots and artist Noriko Suzuki-Bosco, this project represents our mental world and reflects on the evolving definition of ‘home’ as it adapts to accommodate the differing cultures we live in and with. Includes artworks by Jane Cowie, Jason Lim and Andree Weschler.

2. Now – 8 Dec

Moonlies

La Libreria (64A Queen Street)

11am – 7pm

Free

A collaboration between the genres of fashion and photography, this minimalist installation piece by Harry Halim and Warren Wee seeks to depict the internal decay of society consumed with perfect visual images of the female form. Part of Singapore Design Festival.

3. Opening: Fri (7 Dec), 6.30pm

Kites, Veils and Boarding Passes

By Juliana Yasin

Plastique Kinetic Worms (61 Kerbau Rd)
Free

The exhibition will showcase a selection of older works dating back to 1991, as well as large format photographic prints of Yasin in situ recording the many performances that have shaped her career. A video library will also be set up for viewers/audiences to view many of these performances past and present.

Hope you enjoy them and have a great week ahead!

Regards,

Jennifer.
